Super 8 Treats MasterCard Customers

Super 8 Motels courts MasterCard customers with a fall promo giving away coupon books. Hotel guests who pay with MasterCard get a book of discount offers from Super 8, Loews Cineplex Entertainment theaters, Pizza Hut, Bennigan's, Meineke and Midas auto-repair facilities, Samsonite luggage, SamGoody music stores, and Cinnabon bakeries. The promo runs through yearend at 1,900 hotels nationally.
Separately, sister chain Ramada ties with Petro-Canada gas stations for a fall promo targeting Petro-Point loyalty club members, who get up to 20% off rack rates at Ramada's 70 Canadian hotels, plus 1,500 Petro-Points for each Ramada stay.
Both Super 8 and Ramada are owned by Cendant Corp., Parsippany, NJ.
