No longer just a venue for teen events, Simon Malls will bring in celebrity chefs from the Food Network and PBS to appeal to the tastes of its more sophisticated shoppers.

Targeting young adults and Boomers ages 25-54, the 25-mall tour kicks off April 17 in West Palm Beach, FL and runs through Aug. 7, after stopping in major markets across the country including Orlando, New York, Washington, DC and Los Angeles.

Each tour stop will feature free live-cooking performances by a headlining celebrity chef; cooking demonstrations by popular local chefs; wine seminars sponsored by Jacob's Creek; sponsor pavilions; cookbook sales; custom event merchandise sales and culinary activities with participating retailers and restaurants. Audience members will also have the opportunity to meet and greet chefs for autographs.

Chefs appearing at various destinations include Curtis Aikens, Lidia Bastianich, Alton Brown, Mary Ann Esposito, Sara Moulton, Jacques Pepin and Martin Yan. Each event culminates with the Simon Super Chefs Live Cookoff, presented by Oster products, where local food fans will have the opportunity to serve as chefs during a life-action, on-stage cookoff.
