Ameriquest Mortgage Co. has signed as the official mortgage company of Major League Baseball.

As part of the sponsorship agreement, Ameriquest will be the title sponsor of the All-Star Game in-stadium balloting program, and the online All-Star balloting program via MLB.com. This marks the first time since 2000 that in-stadium and online All-Star Game balloting have been presented by the same MLB corporate partner.

Ameriquest will run an exclusive sweepstakes tied to the in-stadium balloting program which will give one lucky fan a trip for four to the 2004 MLB All-Star Game in Houston along with the chance to throw out a ceremonial first pitch. To further complement its All-Star Week activities, Ameriquest will have promotional kiosks on site at John Hancock All-Star FanFest and Minute Maid Park during 2004 All-Star Week and at MLB ballparks during the 2004 postseason.

Ameriquest will also be the title sponsor of the of the MLB.com All-Star Final Vote, which gives fans the opportunity to select the final position player on each All-Star team. Ameriquest also will be the title sponsor of the online vote for the Ted Williams Most Valuable Player Award, which represents 20 percent of the overall vote for the All-Star Game MVP. Both programs will run exclusively on MLB.com.

As part of the in-stadium and online balloting program, Ameriquest will feature seven scheduled balloting updates exclusively in USA Today throughout May and June.

The Ameriquest relationship with Major League Baseball will further be enhanced by sponsorships with several MLB Clubs during the 2004 season and an aggressive Spring Training program incorporating 15 teams in 2005.
